@fc7_plumcrazy -- thanks a bunch for posting all those pics! But, I must ask about this red 1970 Dodge "Monaco-ized" Polara convertible?
it is a Polara 'vert of course. Seen it twice in my life out of my head. Once in Hannover around 2002, and then again in spring 2011 in Frankfurt (pics taken). Don't know much more about it
What makes it "Monaco-ized?"
Wow, that's a lot of C-body ****!
Some of these pictures must be at least 15 years old, judging by the cars, persons an buildings I see in some pictures.
Polarco,I recently made it sweeter. Thanks for the compliment. That last engine shot was from 4 years ago. I was sucking too much hot air with that set up so I plumbed the air out ahead of the rad support. MUCH better.
This is what it looks like now. I'm getting it ready to install turbos. That's the 5.9 Magnum I built for it last year. The previous motor was a 5.2 magnum. The 518 trans gives me 25 MPG on the highway and 18 around town

5.9 = 360Polarco,
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a 5.9 magnum motor and a 518 transmission? I still think in cubic inches and not liters. These are more recent Mopar drivetain items? What did you do to the engine besides EFI to get you this great fuel economy?
5.9 = 360
518= O.D. transmission
That car and build are not mine, just answering your question about 5.9/518. The 518 is more than a lockup. It is a 4 speed (3+OD).So the 518 is really a 727 transmission? With 3rd gear lockup?
Even with an A block, your mileage is remarkable. How specifically did you build the engine for economy and torque? I am asking because next time I build my B-Block 400, I would like to optimize it the same way.
No sir. Dave took it. While the car was being shot by MCGGreat picture Wyatt, was this one from the photoshoot?
