Can I see some additional pictures?

one great thing about C bodys is that there are plenty of nice ones around that are great values compared to A, B & E body prices.
Take your time and look around. This green one isn't that nice or much of a deal.... easy to get upside down in it fast.

Just buying that one will put you upside down. Everything afterwards is tossing money out the window

the rest of us are prob all upside down, so why not him too?

I'm still floating pretty high in the water....... Unless I figure my time into the equation..... but thats where the "love" comes in..... Plus the fun Jazabelle gives us is worth more then a trip to disney land

I found some very nice shots on Flickr of this (formerly F8 green) 1970 Polara convertible after its customization:

While we may disagree with the then-owner on the mods, the photoshoot is IMHO really nice.

It looks like the car did sell for $4,995k in September 2013 (the buyer/seller feedback records support the notion that it was an actual sale):

based on a description that I am copying here in case the eBay page disappears:

"This Polara is now equipped with a mildly built 413 Chrysler motor and a 3 speed automatic 727 transmission. The original numbers matching 383 engine will come with the sale of the vehicle. The 413 has a edelbrock intake and 4 barrel carburetor. The engine starts up easily, runs great and does not overheat. A electric fan was installed prior to taking the Polara on the 2008 Hot rod magazine power tour. Also the body work and paint was done in the summer of 2008 just before taking it on the power tour. The exhaust is a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. It has crank windows, It does have a power top. The interior could stand to be redone at some point, It is discolored but is good for a driver vehicle. The top should be replaced as well at some point, there are 2 rips in it below the rear glass. The paint is custom, It is House of Kolor Organic Green with a gold base coat. There is a barracuda wing on the trunk. It has 15" wire dayton spoked wheels. Tires are almost new. The factory steel wheels also will come with the car at purchase."

Here is a good photo of what the interior looked like as of 2015:

No mention of what was done to deal with the rust issues (images posted by Dave):

sorry, could not resist

The car seems to have been listed for sale again in 2015:

Does anyone know what happened to it afterwards?
