Polaroid and Vintage Pictures

I read electronic meters for eleven years.
Some of the stuff I came across when I brought my camera.
68 Charger in last pic is a stripe delete, 4 Spd, Hemi car
26,000 original miles.
Owner said it had been sitting since ‘73

My friend was on his way back to my parents home and it started to rain.
He up shifted and put it backwards into a ditch. Under the tall grass was a telephone pole cut off about 3ft tall.
His insurance paid the bill.

Ran into ‘63(?) Biscayne the other day. It had better days but it was great to see it still cruising

Did you get around to visiting the Bee? I still need that one picture straightened out :poke:
Not yet. Ya the photo does mess with you doesn't it. LOL I just looked at the original and the car is straight. The house not so much. LOL

I bought a pile of parts the other weekend from an ex-Dodge dealership parts manger from '63ish to early '80s. Ed kindly shared some photos of his Super Bee he bought new in '69. Before trading the car in at a used car lot in '78 he swiped the Ram Charger air cleaner from it and kept it all these years :)

Yes, it is mirra!

A couple years ago I found a black and white film package for our old polaroid camera. I had to take a couple pictures of our T&C. Color picture is taken with new polaroid camera of my Valiant.

I did not have a C-body until I bought my 68 Newport in 2000, but I’ll post the cars that I was influenced by back in the day that got me to where I am now...

Our 1965 Coronet 440 wagon w/318. The only new car my father ever bought. Color was medium turquoise KK-1. Great memories of vacation road trips in this car. I’m on the right in the top pic with my younger brother and older sister. Distinctly remember riding in the back seat on my knees leaning over the front seat between Mom and Dad helping Dad “navigate”. It was on one of these trips when Dad realized I couldn’t read the road signs until we were right on top of it. In second grade I got my first pair of glasses. Broke them several times a year, good thing Dad was an optician and I got my glasses for free!

My 1st car purchased in 1975 when I was a senior in high school. It’s a 1966 Belvedere II 4 door sedan w/318. Didn’t take long for me to cutoff the muffler and replace with a glass pack...

Since I had the 4 door, I was elected to drive all my buddies around trying to look cool

My 2nd car, a 1971 Charger w/318.
Just a base Charger, I tried to make it look cool with all the add-on’s I could...
Cutoff the exhaust, put on dual exhaust thru glass packs with flexible turnouts that exited in front of the rear tires. It sounded tough...
