a guy passionate about formals, think about that. How many are out there? I am not passionate about them but I have seen my share being in the C body internet world for 20 years. A SOLID two door in a desirable color and fairly close to home is NOT a frequent occurrence...I couldnt care less if the air worked, as long as the windows do

Dave, I would almost believe you were trying to talk yourself into or out of this one... I know better, but as right as you are... the guy is asking $7900, $5k would be a nice drop... $3-4k should sell the car.

Unless there is something I missed, the seller never opened the left door to shoot the driver's seat... which is likely not perfect, the car would really need to present as 13k miles to get me to even consider that is a real number. The 13k I envision involves lots of storage scrapes and every fluid leaking... spotty electronics... the typical stuff.

Nope, simply suggesting there is another opinion . I realize there is a price tag of 79 but as always on this board most get uptight when they see a posted price. I would like to think that the masses are smart enough to know that is the starting negotiating point. . . . . . I think the car can pull five but I havent seen it...we'll see I suppose.

And I like it that way.
My NYB parked to next to Jazabelle? No contest. My car doesnt exist.
Just a non-descript Lincolnish looking gas guzzler from the horrible 70's.

A guy passionate about Formals will know there is better out there and will pass.
A Flavor of the Month guy wanting to look cool at the AmVet car show would think $5k is a steal when Town Cars are going for much, much, more.

Plus, he will say, "There's a guy in Lakeland , FL getting 3x that for this same car. . . "
