Greetings,

I’m having trouble sourcing a power brake booster for my ‘70 Polara station wagon. It has disk brakes in the front, drums in the rear. Apparently this item is hard to find. Not sure if any similar Mopars from this era will interchange.

Thanks,
Andy

Big John, greatly appreciate that suggestion. I will definitely look into that. That is what some other friends of mine in the hobby have suggested as well.

That is very likely your only option.

Other posts on this subject, in here and other forums, advise against using one of the "universal fit" (or as eBay notes, Exact fit with modifications) boosters, no matter WHO might be selling them. In this case, the "only option" turns out to be the "Beat Option".

I’m looking for one myself as the current one is WAY too close to the rocker cover.

Been down that road. Save your money on using a universal one. Been there, done that. I sourced a 72 power brake booster for my 69 and had it rebuilt by the Power Brake Exhange. Worth every penny.
