Im in the process of putting a 440RB into a 1972 Fury 360LA.

Is the steering pump the same? I know that the 440 has other bracket/pulley but can I just bolt the 360 steering pump on new 440 brackets and can I keep all oil lines and such?

If not, what exactly do I need?

Pump is the same, as noted you will need the appropriate brackets. Also note that Mopars used both Saginaw and Federal pumps, so you need to order the appropriate brackets for whichever pump you have. Some of the big block applications also had a different sized drive pulley than the small block for both the pump and the crank shaft, so some tweaking of the belt length might be necessary. .

Thanx alot for clarifing that, mister Davea Lux. My 360 now has the Saginaw pump, so I will look for Saginaw style brackets for the 440 then. Hopefully, the oil lines are also long enough to stay on, as I noticed that the 440 location is abit higher then the 360 pump location. Good point on the pully too!
