Check to see if your dist shaft is bent. Take the cap off and the rotor and have some one crank it and look if it wobbles. Ignition is its own thing should be good on all wires. Something is not right with the system. Seriously thinking distrib.
To bad your not closer I would throw it on the machine and see what is going on to at least eliminate it.

That would be nice....I tend to like keeping original parts but if they replacing that's ok. I will check the shaft but when I was tearing it apart to clean everything it spun real nice and I didn't notice any bends. I'm wondering if it's just a bad plug. That could fail an inductive light read....pretty sure the noise I hear is an exhaust leak on the passenger side. It runs very nicely now...occasional shake at idle but not much for the mileage.

Check the top of the shaft where the cam plate rides the small part can bend easily.
