Questions About 1973 Imperial

Good morning, have you tried searching FCBO? Here's a 2016 post that I found while running "1973 Imperial production" in the search box:

1971-1973 Imperial Production Numbers

The Standard Catalog is what I was going to suggest, and it shows 2,563 produced.

As to how many survive, that is anyone's guess.

FWIW, I know of about 10-25% (depending on make and engine) of all 1970 C-body convertibles as having survived -- but my guess is that the number of survivors would be much lower for Imperials, as they are complicated/expensive to fix, are ideal at derby races, and have that big 440 for putting into B/E-body restomods.

In related matters, I know of only 14 1971 Imperial two-doors still on the road. This does not mean there are not many more (I know another 13 '71 2dr Imps that may or may not still be on the road), but even with those 13 that would still be less than 2% of the total (1,442) LeBaron coupes produced for MY 1971.

From Online Imperial Club. Not all of what you asked for however its presented as the the productions numbers.

Being a recent owner of a 64 Imperial and seeing all the gadgets and dodads it has, it makes sense that when something broke or stopped working, the owner just "junked it" or sold it for practically nothing and the engines became E and B body replacements. Plus until the Demolition Derby establishment outlawed them after several hundreds were destroyed, more were off the market. So compared to other Mopars I'll make an educated guess an say less than 10% have survived.

@ANDRE LEITE DE BARROS — congrats! Would you share the fender tag (you just did! Than you) and YM23T3C249770 ´s history?

PS: cool triple-black, repainted white.
