But it might hide that front plate. I'm glad we don't have them anymore.
I'm not too happy with having the front plate. At least there is a mount so it doesn't damage the grill and splitter.

Here ya go Bob. The Lotus club I belong to is having a track day at Watkins Glen. Any car can come. They provide the instructor etc.

Where’d they go?You don’t have to be driving the car to die when it crashes. The other 54% were obviously passengers, pedestrians etc.
From what they tell me it is!That might be a cool experience!
Correct. In his rendition of Alabama Jubilee he says “Where’d they go” as part of lyrics. For me and a coulple others it’s an inside joke. The relivence here? Someone made fun of the stats I posted and said they didn’t add up. I explained how in fact they did. Then no more was said. No red x, no thanks, no green check mark. Where’d they go?I'm not sure your question here? He died from complications of emphysema at 71 if that's Jerry Reed?
From what they tell me it is!
I've driven the track a dozen times now and it's awesome! Especially the boot section, the part that NASCAR doesn't use, but not with an instructor.
Go for it!

That is a classic road course! But Watkins Glen is a lot closer and hosted the F1 races for 19 years! And they just resurfaced the entire track 2 years ago.Road America has Test and Tune events that the public can participate in.

Where’d they go?
Came across this today while cleaning out my truck

In a Ram 1500. It was a blast.Gotta ask, you've obviously been there, and just about everywhere? But did you drive it?

Hand me that cigarette over there would ya honey?
SON!
Look at it this way. If two cars collide with two occupants each and , let’s say car #1 has two females, one driver, one passenger. And car #2 has two males, one driver one passenger. If both occupants in each car dies the fatality stats would be what? Thanks for the tune...BUT, you must not be familiar with my standard hours of operation around here... good morning.
"You don’t have to be driving the car to die when it crashes." that I can agree to. "The other 54% were obviously passengers, pedestrians etc." I cannot agree to given the statement.
While I freely admit to limited vocabulary and I do have my struggles with the language... this sentence is very clear to me "
Male drivers were involved in 34% of fatal crashes in 2016 while female drivers were involved in 12%." (Source: 2019 Driving Statistics: The Ultimate List of Driving Stats). It is in fact a stand alone bullet point, so I haven't manipulated anything in this situation.
So read it slow and out loud if you have to... unless they are saying driverless cars or they are that sympathetic to the gender identity of a large population of undecided folks (who can't drive)... I still feel like I'm correct.
You just didn't get anywhere initially, like the red x you desired, because I wasn't here and when I read it I didn't care. Now that I've engaged you... well there's another 5 minutes I'll never get back...
I seem to remember an old saying I believe its from Mark Twain. That there are "three types of lies, Lies, Damn Lies, and Statistics".21 people died.
10 people died and a qt. of milk was found in their refrigerators.
11 people died and a 1/2 gal. of milk was found in their refrigerators.
People having a 1/2 gal. of milk had a 10% higher death rate.
Statistics are misused all the time to warp the facts to fit the argument.
90% of people don't understand statistics.
75% of statistics are made up on the spot.
What percentage of you will get the point, here?
If you look down and your doing 80, then your putting everyone around you at risk. Stubs can be a little rough around the edges, but you asked for thoughts and he gave you his. You then cussed him and called him an idiot. i have to go with Stubs on this one. When i see a person doing 80, he is the idiot in my opinion. Go ahead, rant on me.
