Really upset ATM...

John, that really sucks my friend. Hopefully you can get it all taken care of. USAA has always been a great company ( I have them as well). I have not ever had to make a claim since I have been with them but a neighbor of mine did when stationed in Hawaii and when the adjuster came out they had a check the same day. Their house was broken into and a bunch of stuff was stolen. Hope it all works out. I will keep and eye out for parts for your brother. Hang in there!

Thanks man. It'll be fine. I hope to hear something today.

Well, so far the cost for the trunk lid and light bezels from Desert Valley Auto Parts is $600 for the lid and housings and $225 to ship to New Jersey. Waiting on Murry Park now.

Man that is steep. At least you could find them though. Its tough finding stuff for our cars man. I have 4 sets of head light bezels and two grills as well as two tail finish panels just for reasons like this!

Oh believe man, I know how hard it is to find parts for our cars. This is why I'm upset with this whole thing. Not easy to find good parts and when you do, the cost is nuts.

Well brother if I had anything to help you out I would be all over it. But none of my crap fits your car! LOL.

Thanks man and I would do the same. I was looking at this also. Seems it was an option or just the 4 door version, not really sure, but I found this and think it looks pretty cool without the light bezels. Not sure though.

Sadly DVAP is very, very proud of their parts and the price accordingly. Did you contact Texas Acres or Wildcat?

I believe they were on the Fury I's. They were the low dollar version of todays rubber floor mat work trucks.

LMAO man! I don't know, I kinda like the look of the lid better than the one with the lights. You could even get creative and paint that section with silver. Might look pretty cool.

John, keep in mind on the Fury I that the outer bezel and the reverse light bezel have a smaller surround, they don't have a shadow line around them like the III or Sport. Your outer light bezels are wider than the Fury I reverse light bezel, They just wont line up. Anyway because you have a sport Fury I would figure you want to replace them with the ribbed one that is correct for your car or would you rather have the Fury III smooth center?

Maybe a cool mod that would look almost factory would be on the right side, adding a left outer housing on the trunk next to the reverse lamp and on the left adding a right outer housing next to the reverse lamp. it would kinda look like the Fury III or Sport without the large bezel, and the outer housings are much easier/cheaper to have chromed. you would need to use the Fury I deck lid and two sets of outer bezels. anyone want to photochop that idea?

Is this any help? Same style, wrong side, wrong car or?

Its the right part, but not sure if it's the passages side that I need. In the first or second picture is the writing inside the larger lens holder upright so you can read it without turning it over? If so sadly that's the drivers side.

I didn't notice that, my bad! I'll be sticking to the same setup I have now. Thanks for pointing that out man!

Hmm, I'm trying to figure out what you mean?

I do have the correct housings for my car, but they are in pretty bad shape. I wonder how they would look if I got them powder coated?

There was a real nice 66 on ebay a few weeks back that had this trim painted and it looked real good. the outer portion was left chrome but the rest was body color....
