Really upset ATM...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune that really bites. I have a VIP parts car but shipping from Alberta to New Jersey would be ugly. Not in a hurry to dismantle that car but if if you run out of options let me know.

Those housing look like they're in great shape too. I'm sure the shipping would be expensive! Thanks for posting it though. Even the bumper looks great also. Nice cars!

Hey,these guys may help you out.I used to go there way too often for old car parts when I lived on Long Island. They have lots of stuff dating back to the forties. You can try asking for Bart or Charlie, they are the owners and quite knowlegeable. It's called Moriches Used auto parts and their located on the south shore close to the Hamptons.Their number is (631) 878-8988. At least they're closer to you in Jersey so that maybe shipping won't cost a fortune or you may want to take a ride there. Good Luck!

Well, just got off the phone with the insurance company and they won't cover it. They said that they would need the other drivers information, because it was a hit and run. Go figure!!. Now it's on me to fix. Looks like I'll be doing some bodywork. Thanks guys for all the information and help.

Really sorry to hear this buddy. Its a tough deal. I really thought they would have done something to help ease the pain. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. I've got some 65 parts laying around if you want to turn it into a good looking car! :bootyshake: LMAO

Thats rough man, I will keep my eyes open for anything out this way. Sadly I dont have anything you can use for this issue in my stash....

Wait. Didn't you really mean that some other family member backed into you with their well insured car?????

I appreciate it guys. What I need is Overhaulin to come get my car. I'm really bummed at this point. Don't mean to *****, but my wife is out of work and it's hard on me to make ends meat and put out any cash for my car at this time. I just picked up those taillight housings at a swap meet last summer. Just sucks.

The insurance company said if it was vandalized they would have covered it under comprehensive. I should have said that in the first place, but I was being honest.

BTW, Murry Park got back to me and this is what he said.

Hello, I have a nice decklid and both taillight bezels for your Sport Fury, $650.00 plus $250.00 for crating and shipping. Thanks, Murray Park

I placed an order with Murray last week. It was not wallet friendly.
The truth is he's not getting rich but it's simply supply and demand.
His supply used to be yards that called him to get the extra 100 bucks over scrap. Those cars are gone. Our cars are getting older.
Truthfully I can not get upset about Murray. Only the situation.

:iamwithstupid: It is getting harder and harder to find any of this stuff. Sometimes you flat our have to choke up the change in order to get what you need. I need the finish panel for behind the back seat in my car and the only one I have even been able to find that is not in two pieces was $1500.

I found the other side. It has some damage. Dented, and a couple of cracks. Maybe better than what you have, but I would consider it a core. :(

Thank you for looking for me. Maybe post a few up close pics if you have the time, ya never know! I have the originals that came with the car. They are straight, but are pitted a bit. I'm going to see if I can straighten out the housing that took the hit. It's not cracked, just kind of bowed in a 1/2" or so.
