I need both left and right. I’m not sure what to call these, I couldn’t find a reference in the parts book, but my best guess is “rear seat lap belt reinforcement bracket - outer”. These bolt to the floor and then the belt bolts to the bracket.

The first pic are the bolt holes in my floor pan, the second is the best pic I could find of one in place. Please take a look and let me know what you have. If I can’t find originals I could probably mock something up, but would need measurements.

Thanks in advance!

I just finished doing the interior in my'70 Newport. My rear belts had no bracket; the stud went through the belt mounting bracket (with the belt attached) straight into the hole. Nothing else.

From your pictures, I really don't know what I'm looking at or for.

This is my 69 Polara 500 (the sedan was the same), belts just bolt to the floor.
The “rear seat lap belt reinforcement bracket - outer” is the bracket on the "outside" the car (under the floor pan)

Interesting, so the bolt goes through the floor directly? Do you remember if your floor has two holes like my first picture above?

Thanks Alan, mine is definitely different than what you show. There is no “outboard” bolt hole provision other than the two holes I show in the first pic. After looking through the FSM and the Assembly Manual, I’m thinking that the ‘70 with the bracket is a one year, convertible only piece.

My '70 vert has those brackets. I'm looking for a pic....

A couple bad pics with the belt bolted on. The Boss POS is gone if anyone cares.

I see it, thanks. It has the plastic sleeved seat belt, I think the ‘69 was all cloth. I’ve looked through the parts book but can’t find a part number, yet the bracket is clearly pictured in the assembly manual. I might end up making one since bolting the plastic sleeved belt directly to the floor will not work.

No holes there on the 69

You replaced it with something better, yes?
Car audio stuff has gotten so inexpensive in the past 10 years that 'better' doesn't cost much more.
The difficulty lies in determining what products are good - there are too many choices and reviews are too subjective. :(

I went with a 8" Sound Ordinance powered sub woofer. I believe Sound Ordinance is Crutchfield's house brand. Sound Ordnance™ B-8PTD

It's works well. I don't need that big hit of bass that some folks need, I just wanted a little more bass to make the sound a little fuller. The only real issue is it pops when I turn it off. My eclectic taste in music presents a challenge getting just the right setting too.

I did put an equalizer that helps me get the sound right... and a Polk Audio 4channel amp that drives front and rear speakers. Two small Polk speakers in the front, stock location and then a Custom Autosound dual voice coil 6 x 9 speaker, also in the stock location. A Gary Tayman converted stock signal seeking radio drives all this and I usually listen to my satellite radio.

A lot of higher end sound equipment is wasted on me though... My ears are at least as old as I am... Then there's years of working in machine shops/tool rooms, race cars, shooting loud music etc. I have tinnitus in my left ear from a firecracker tossed in the back seat of the '62 Valiant next to me when I was 14. So... expensive sound is nice, but I can't tell the difference.

On the other hand, my Barracuda uses just the converted radio and two 6x9 dual voice coil speakers. To me, it sounds almost as good.... That is the winter plan for the 300L too.

I hope this is a clearer picture, before the sound deadening was put down. The two red arrows are pointing to two bolt holes at the edge of the floor near the quarter window. That’s where a bracket would bolt to and then the seat belt would bolt to the bracket.

No. mine are nothing like that. Mine are like the bottom picture of Mr.Mopar's images: two holes on each side of the hump for mounting the belt, and then one on either side of the seat area for the short connector. Sorry I don't have a picture of them.

My second mounting hole is underneath the carpet on either side, close to the door opening.

I wouldn’t have thought they were different having similar build dates. I like the way you did that with the clamps. How did you deal with the front seat retractable belts near the door sills? I still haven’t figured out how to attach the plastic shield piece.

@Samplingman Are these the plastic sleeves you're referring to?
I've got 1 of the longer sleeves and 2 smaller sleeves.
