I agree but you loose double points for the resale red (original or not)

To me the best combo ever is B5 with a white interior and top.

Alan

I agree with blue/ white but I'm partial to B7.

I also agree with Carsten, you lose points for the blue interior.

Resale red is only resale red if its on a car not originally red or a is bright red on a off-red car.

sorry i vote for blue with a blue interior

Carsten

Any exterior with medium to darker looks better with white interior.

Medium exteriors look almost equally good with black but not quite.

Agree on first point, B7 beats B5 which is too light, don’t like B3 at all.

2nd Point is that what he said?

3rd point agreed. Red is good if original color.

And I’m a fan of Red w white interior.

Same exterior color as interior loses points, even B5, IMHO, Especially F8 w green interior. F8 is stunning with white interior and very nice with black interior.

ER6 is a really great color. Lipstick red, really.

Here is my original. 1970, 34k miles, nicely preserved. I am partial to black interiors, which do not yellow.

As another example, here is @Don Stolfi ’s 1969:

No, really. Youve talked about Furys that your dad had but I honestly don't recall EVER seeing photos or hearing of you owning one done car.

I don’t have any C bodies but I’ve owned 2. 67 Sport Fury and 67 300.

I don’t have any done cars. The R/T is a pretty unmolested other than an 80s repaint. It’s shiny and okay at 20 feet. I suspect an 80s seats recover too. Had 82 K on speedo when I go it in late 90s.

I don’t have many pics of it, the above one is from 99 not long after buying.

This one is from about 2012 ish last time I cleaned it up before it going into hibernation again.

My crappy old job got in the way and I’m lazy by nature.

Good news is I’ve gotten re-excited about it and am buying parts to convert to 4 speed, probably stupid I know but will keep everything to return to original if some future owner wants.

Also needs some floor pan work, surprise, that has been a hindrance, wish I knew how to weld!

it's back on eBay now, Starting Bid $5,000..Time left:9d 22h | 1/24, 6:47PM....I think they took down the previous listing because they didn't put a proper description in? there were only photos...

Maris 214-616-2317 or Dave 214-213-7072. We are proud to present this amazing 69 Dodge Polara 500. This car is a true beauty. Looking up production numbers, we find out of 117,152 Polaras and Monacos built in 1969, 973 base Polara convertibles were built, and only 579 Polara 500 convertibles were built. That makes this car one of only 579 cars of it's kind built that year.
FEATURE INCLUDE: 383 cu in V-8 4 bbl, 3 Speed Auto Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top, Dual Exhaust, Factory Air Conditioning, Factory Cruise Control, Original Low Mileage, Car Cover.

The color combination is awesome on this Polara. The paint is said to be mostly original with just some touch up areas. The interior is in excellent condition. The dash is like new. There are no cracks or fading.
You can see the doors are rust free underneath. There is one switch cover missing on the window controls. It still operates.
The 55,300 miles are said to be original.

Why the hell are you not driving this? At least stretch her legs once in a while.

pitting on the stub doesn't seem to jive with the rest of the car but i wouldn't kick it to the curb.

This car has seen more than paint touch ups.

A real 68 RT convertible and you wanna modify :realcrazy:.
I presume you aren't getting younger? Let's go!

Come on guys..... It's a convertible. Red is right and better with white interior and top!!!!! B5 is nice on cars with hard tops.... Drop tops should be red, like pick up trucks.....:poke:
