i recall a film like this (mid 1960's early in elementary school). may have been this "classic" as the turtle seems familiar. if not this one, the desk & hallway drills in the school building sure do bring it all back.Wonder how many Millennials, Gen-Z-ers and Alphas are blissfully baffled by this sign?

I do!Who can remember or forget the air raid drills in elementary school!! Sit indian style in the hallway and kiss the floor! Pain and suffering for us fat kids!
my elementary school is also still standing. Built 1926 and now has an national historic designation. I have been back as an old man to discover that most of the CD signage is gone (both ON the building and INSIDE).I remember in grade school we'd have 3 "Civil Defence Drills" a year. The last one we'd actually go all the way down into the fallout shelter. Oh how we looked forward to that! Ironically a couple of years ago I visited my old elementary school and the "Fallout Shelter" sign is still above the door.
