Hello,
Is there a way to do a good repair on the cracked insulation(exposed copper) of my original distributor lead wire(bottom photo; the crack is on seam between wire and little contact boot. top photo is of an nos wire on ebay).
or... maybe someone has a replacement to sell me from their stash, either NOS or used off a parts car?

Thanks, Alex

I re do distributors and they are usually cracked, unfortunately the nos ones range from 25 and up, would love to have a source for them.

They are all crap usually. I sometimes get the wire out of the boot and replace it with a new wire. Just a pia. If I could find the right grommets that would be the stuff, can only find the plug looking ones that do not even coming close to going in the hole.

Is the terminal ring broken off the terminal? I'd use a crimp connector and a piece of heat shrink over the terminal to disguise as they are hard to see when installed.
