Replacing the Cam

I am glad that I put on the Edelbrock Carb. It added a little more HP and it runs a lot better, so I am happy with it.
But, today I went riding around and noticed some fluid leaking from underneath the car. Well low and behold, my fuel tank is leaking. Why does something have to go wrong every time I start saving up money to have it reupholstered and painted? :(

Sorry about the whining but I had to either vent or start back smoking. LOL.

Yea, that sucks. But it never stops. And remember, even without the car, it wouldn't stop. That's life. If you're off the smokes (which is what I gather) I commend you. Stay strong and stay healthy, man!

Thanks. And you are right, that is life.

Sorry about your latest problem but man you are making some real head way on your car! Overall you are ahead big time.

i warmed up a two bbl 318 with four bbl vavles in the stock heads , 340/360 hp stock grind cam . 340/360 exhaust manifolds , 340 carb n intake . dual exhaust 2 1/4 '' was plenty . and a better ign , mine was a 52 dodge 241 hemi duel point , there are better ign then that now . a good little motor ran great good power and got good fuel mileage .

With the weather in the mid 60's today I should have been doing something out side, but instead I continued working on the 440 today, removing the heads and prepping for reassembly.
I know everyone likes pics, so here you go....

I agree, the 318 motor I have runs great. That's why I don't want to put in a different motor.
