RnR and Cars

I have been in Magdeburg, too in 1990.
The cruise through town was really great.

Club Lola? With Jürgen "jake" Kneiert and all the other guys?
That club in long gone but it was a party gang for sure ;-))

Jake is my oldest son's godfather! Holy Crap, you know Jake, Mike, Stephan, Annette, and the others!!! My gosh, what a small world this is indeed! You were in Magdeberg, do you remember my black short-bed Dodge? I had a black bed cover I built myself with a large silver Pentastar in the middle of it. And the only truck with USAEUR license plates, of course!

Jake and Mike introduced me to "gluwine" (spelling???) and tuna fish pizza. Those were fun times, and yes, they definitely knew how to party! We are still in touch with Jake and Stephan, who are both working in the US these days.

Pat you mean "Glühwein" in x-mas time. ;-))
Unfortunatly I do not remember your truck.
None of the Lolagang were into Mopars.
Jake had a blue met 66 Fury with a white top but sold it and drove his reddish 68 Pontiac CV around for many years.
If you talk to him say "hello" from me.

This is my favorite Julian ..... so I fixed them for you.

Unfortunately, I saw it only once. On the first evening. In the dark. Obviously. ;)

But I have done my best to brighten the images for you!

I found that Fury in Belgium for him. We drove there and towed it to Germany with the Dodge pickup and a rented Anhanger from the next village over from me. The proprietor wanted to buy my truck, every time he laid eyes on it! The Pontiac was a local Oklahoma City find Jake bought here, and had shipped to Germany, so I know both cars. Mike had a '56 Chrysler St. Regis coupe that was coral pink and white with a 354 Hemi. He and I had the only Mopars in the club.

Lots of fun!!!

I do remember the Chrysler, too. It had non original chrome wheels. but nobody cared back in the day.
Yeah, he bought the Pontiac in Oklahoma and spent 1.800$ if I remember correctly. He also once bought a Dodge Custom 880 wagon in the US. It was white and very cheap but he never shipped it over to germany

Fun times for sure!
