Roll Pan? Hmmmm!?

Don't get discouraged by a couple negative comments. It's your car so do whatever you want & keep dreaming up new stuff. If everybody ran stock cars then hot rodding wouldn't even exist.

I like your idea & think you should keep playing with it. And, as you said, it's a pretty decent weight loss......

Thank you. Im always thinking of ideas when it comes to my cars. Some work, others don't. It's a shame that the side view doesn't look to good, but from the back, and IMO, looks pretty badass! As for weight transfer to the rear with a bumper, I don't have an issue with hooking the car, even with the bumper off. I'm running 28x10x15 Hoosier Slicks! No hook problem at all. With street tires, forget it with how the engine is setup. Cops are cool around here, so I don't worry about running the slicks on the street. I don't drive very far around my town and would never take the car out of town with the slicks on anyway. Some guys like all stock and bringing their cars to look factory and that's cool, but I like over the top Muscle cars and wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, my 440 only has about 250 miles on it with upgrades, but I'll be pulling it apart over the winter, to do a bigger cam (Roller) and head swap. I'm shooting for 11s by next summer.
Just what I want to do and I love this stuff!!!

On the subject of the bumper, the roll pan doesn't look bad from the rear but it doesn't look right in the side view. However, if the original Fury bumper is in good shape, it could be possible to use it to make a mold for a fiberglass bumper. The same could be done with the front bumper if saving weight is what you're after. The fiberglass bumpers could be painted body color or a color that would resemble chrome.:)

Mad man...... I love it.

LMAO. Mopar crazy man! If you look at the first picture I posted you can see the slicks under it. Pretty fat looking and man does the car hook. It's like getting slammed in the back by a truck when I wack it! Very cool feeling and the nose comes right up! Wish the front tires would come off the ground, but for now it's a great feeling the way it is. The trans/engine/rear/exhaust combo is what makes it feel the way it does.

I'm hoping to keep all four on the ground. I see guys at the track shifting into second gear when all they can see is blue sky. I'd **** right in my pants....

I hear ya man. I just want a Badass C Body. This C Body is my first one and I'm liking it, but I'm an A Body guy at heart and owned a lot of them. Also 2 E Body's too, but this C feels so cool. It's just different because back when I owned the other cars I was younger and didn't have the cash to dump into the drive train like I do now. It's pretty cool to start the Fury up with 3" exhaust and hear the cam chuggin and when I whack it, the response it instant! I'm really looking forward to putting in the new cam and heads. The motor will gain close to 100 hp. I'm even thinking of putting a 150 shot of NOS too. I need to tie the frame together also, but NOS scares me a little. We'll see how it all pans out after the upgrades.
