About 20 years ago, I purchased a 1970 White Polara convertible. At the time, I was told that it was 1 of 10 Rose bowl parade cars.
Is there any way to confirm this?

Thanks
Tom

I discussed your car with him a few months back, you had posted on Facebook about it.

Yours is one of the 3 located.

@TomC: The three Rose Bowl 1970 Polara 'verts of which I know are DL27T0D137741 (used to be John's); DL27T0D137743 (used to be Polara Dave's; it is now owned by @1969vert500); and DL27T0D137744 (I have known it as "Tom's car" in Dave's Yahoo list of Polara 'verts, so it must be yours :)). See here for the list:

71 Dodge Polara Brougham coupe

All those three cars have the same scheduled build date (October 15, 1969). As @polara71 noted through @71Polara383, the actual number is not known and the sequence is not consecutive. The fact that #42 is missing from the above sequence suggests (but does not guarantee) that there were at least four RB cars, though there may have been more.

It would be great to see more photos of your car, including the fender tag and any build sheet if you have one.

Thank you Dave.
Dave is busy driving back from a great trip right now. I’m sure you’ve seen the thread. This post is mine, including the links (but it uses, with proper credit given, some of the info originally found by @polara71 — thanks Dave!)
