A 1/2 mile ahead of me I spotted the 68 Mustang and notice it was a fastback. Ok, I saw a black coupe only 5 miles earlier. However a tad closer and I saw the car about 20 yards in front. Immediately speed up so I could get some kind of picture. Many drivers went right on by and didn't even seem to notice. I drove by and gave both a big thumbs up for the flashback. Down on the Hornet asked several if they knew their cars and movies. All said that is a Mustang and that was it. Are you kidding me! They were getting off at the next exit for the Orinda Car Show which I declined to go to. They call it a "concours" car show and wanted $60 to enter.

Very, very, cool! Looks like the super cars in the chase scene in Bullitt.....

that is absolutely awesome. I have on my bucket list owning a '68 blk charger

That is VERY cool. I have 70' Charger on my bucket list. Of course I'll have to hit the lottery first in as much as they cost these days.

Those are amazing pictures! The cars are stunning and the '68 Charger is still my favorite production car ever built. I can't think of too much better a sight to see on the highway.

I'll take any 1968-1970 Charger.....

My favorite car is a 1969 Super Bee.

OHHHHH! glad I didn't see that while I was driving I probably would have wrecked. I'm making a clone out of my 68 charger, that just made my day.

LOL! Believe me...I try to drive it every day.

I had her for a little less than 3 years and I've put 13,000+ miles on her already.

Wow, almost like a daily driver. Perhaps thats the problem, you never sit still long enough for someone to catch up

I have a small network of friends......and they are usually riding with me in NYB when we go anywhere.

Many of those streets in the movie I have actually driven back in the early 90's during a Mustang get together in the City. I drove my 68 Mustang. I lived around the are full time since 1977, and in the City from 1986-98, so I am very familiar with all the locations now. One of those quirks of mine along with many of the locations from "The Streets of San Francisco".

The shot of the Mustang heading around the curve is the Marina District. They have just passed the Safeway, I have shopped in, and now are heading to the straight away part of Marina Blvd. Those tracks aren't there today but the Safeway still is.
