Saw this on Moparts

He supposedly had 3 63 300 J's. AllI wanted was brake booster. He would only sell all 3 J's as a package. He said you couldmake 1 out of all 3. Had no mtors, only1 J block, which are unique to 63 300 J only. Has 300 J stamped on pad instead of 413.
If I had a place to put em, I might have done it. But I never felt he could be trusted. He did have some treasures, J headers, short rams, a K, and L convert. Again, if you could trust him

Freeman. I thought that was the subject of thread!?? My bad if it wasn't.
WIth all the bad, I still would like to stroll through his yard some day. I doubt if he would allow it though.

Yes strolling that yard is and would be allowed. I know Neal, been dealing with him for 30 yearz, My wife and I have been in that yard and strolled around unsupervised. Word is from the 300 club that the crush is on and the doors are closed. Not that it really matters but the last time he and I spoke(about Thanksgiving time) he told me he was burned out and it was going to happen. Hears the real laugh or cry depending on your point of vue. His Wife has a wedding planner thing going an it's making more $ then the bone yard with about 1/10th the hourz invested. He'll be missed by most of us, Jer

I remember buying some parts off him for a '63 Dodge Custom 880 hardtop wagon I had in the mid-'90s. He was pretty good on his prices. Considering the closest parts car to me at the time was another '63 at that yard in Denton, Texas (exceptionally high prices there!!!), with shipping and such, Freman was a relative bargain. I got the parts I needed at a fair price, and we were both happy.

I can see where the guys that own these yards are getting burned out. There have been five yards in the OKC area in the past five years that simply closed shop, crushed everything and moved on. Two were from the death of the owners, and the others were from owner burnout. It's the way things go, guys.
