he might ask 17k EUR for it but it will be for sale for years with that price.

Same in Northern Italy: two 1974 formal hardtops, a Gran Sedan and a Monaco Brougham, are for sale for about two years now. All that time, their asking price remained fixed at 12,000 and 17,000 euro respectively.

Maybe, but unfortunately here in Europe prices are rising way too much.
Basically anything American with a V8 is perceived and advertised as "Muscle Car" and overpriced.

I'm looking for a Chevy Caprice as a daily driver (77-79 with a 350 or even a 305) and it's hard to find a sedan under €5k...

Central European issue. Scandinavia is totally something else ;)
