I think I got spoiled Matt. My last couple projects were southern and NW vehicles that came apart with ease. No chisels or fire wrench's required. Not like Virgil.... Never again.

All this time I’ve been referring to this car as the Ruby car when it’s not at all Ruby, it’s Plumb! Wtf is wrong with me?
I realized this because I’m getting some paint mixed for it.

Something told me I might need a spare rebuilt trans so I had my buddy do 2 for me. The original out of the Ruby car will go back home and then the spare came out of the parts car from Cali. Both were in unknown condition to me and neither one of them would’ve lasted very long without being gone through.

Btw the trans going into the this car got a later model valve body that I’ve been hanging on to so it’s got a part throttle kick down...DELUXE!

Lastly on the driver’s side is this repair on the forward stub mount.

It’s a new day. A little prep work before I tear into this spot since I figure the best and easiest way to fix this area is to replace the whole structure.

This would’ve taken a week if I would’ve had to make my own parts!
