So I bought this one today.

Not sure on the insulation under the intake yet. I never put one on my silver car but the exhaust is rather obnoxious on it anyway so…
The good news is that this just happened.:)

Chipped away at it some more today, starter, trans lines and linkage and also installed the e-brake cable from the parts car as the original from the parts car is nice and started fussing with other things coming through the firewall.

Forgot I had this option that I found today. This would look good on your 67!
Dedicated 67/68 Chrysler imperial bug deflector. It worked good. The hood ornament I sold off this hood was nicest one I ever saw.

detmatt, what engine paint did you use? It's turquoise, right? My computer is making it look...well...a weird colour.

VHT rattlecan Chrysler turquoise. I’m not saying that the valve covers have original paint on them, they might I don’t know but I had those in stock and they are just temporarily attached.

Actually SP126 Early Chrysler Blue on the label.

Replaced the main bulkhead connector and some poorly repaired burnt wires with good stuff from a doner harness. Time consuming and now my hands are sore but another thing checked off the list.

Just about ready to bolt the stub back to the body but first we’re headed up north for a week. Says the guy that seems to have already been vacationing.

One last rust repair before I bolt up the stub. This is the rear seat mount crossmember on the passenger side which looks to have been reinforced maybe from the factory? I’m not sure but I can’t imagine someone added this afterwards. This car is a pretty late built ‘67 so maybe this reinforcement was done at the factory on Director cars. The crossmember from the Director parts car is a much earlier car built in ‘66 and does not have these reinforcements. The last pic shows the same section of the donor crossmember.

Thankfully after cutting away the reinforcements I think only a small section of it and the floor above needs to be replaced.

A little more clean up and some paint and I’m moving on to the installation of the stub frame. That was a good days work!

It’s official! I’m done welding inside the car!:thankyou:
The wiring harness covers are back on and I also replaced the e-brake cable with the one from the donor car as the original was beyond saving.:)
