My truck just got replaced........ By a 69 Fury Custom Suburban.

My truck could carry 4x8 plywood with tail gate down....... The Fury will take 4x8 plywood with 2 ft left over and the gate closed, and keep it dry.

Nice looking truck. Last company I worked for gave me one very similar. Great truck, good on gas. Honestly better truck to spend a day in than my Ram 1500.

You'll come to appreciate that standard regular cab with the suicide doors. That std. cab is huge. Shame that even Ford abandoned that design.
Best damn vehicle of any kind I have ever owned.
And I say that with no apologies to any man.
I often spend seat time in an '08 Ram 1500.
Don't like it as much.

I've been without a true truck for about 20 years.

I was able to trade it even for my 08 RAV4!

Dodge is Truck of the Year two years in a row now. And Dodge gets the best fuel economy in the full size segment with its new 3.0 liter diesel. Even the brand new 2015 aluminum body Fords are not getting praise, instead even the new Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize trucks are getting better reviews. The competition now is intense.

2. Unbelievable reliability. It just won't break.

BTW, Ford put in a secret gun compartment in our trucks but if I tell you where it is, I'll have to kill you.
Seriously, they did build in a secret gun compartment that they were able to slip past the legal and marketing departments.

I feel that they perform overall better than Chevy, Dodge, or any truck in every way. The last Dodge truck that I owned was a 1979 D150 Power wagon 4X4 had it two years traded it in for a 1982 F250 Lariat and never bought anything but Fords since. (of course other than my 69 Sport fury last year and my wife's 07 Cadillac DTS two months ago ) But as far as trucks go I will always stick to owning a Ford.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I understand also that Dodge uses thinner body sheet metal.
Is that true or an urban legend?

My Dodge has a storage area under the rear seat. Did you look there?
