So I got a new to me Truck for picking parts up..

Thanks for the opinions guys. I understand also that Dodge uses thinner body sheet metal.
Is that true or an urban legend?

BTW, I've been out trying to find that secret gun compartment.. no luck yet.

Maybe.
See what you get from Googling first. :)

BTW, I am not disparaging one maker over another.
I simply have a list of what I personally need and the F-150 did it the best.
We all have different needs and that's why Ram and GM also fill needs quite successfully.

But is it secret?
Plus it wouldn't be there in the first place if it was a regular cab.

A: Whatever
B: What are you talking about? I didn't ask about your secret hiding place
The discussion had become about secret (SECRET) compartments.
That's what I'm talking about. What are you talking about?

Personally I like my little 1/2 ton Plymouth Scamp Pickup just fine. Heats up quick in the cold months, coolz down quick in the hot months. And it Haulz my A$$ and most everything else I need hauled extra fast and getz 30+ MPG doin' it. Last neat Pickup I owned before that that did it for me waz ah '68 ElCamino. But when it came time to trade that one in '72 gas had trippled and the insurance let me know that If I wanted that tripple Black 396SS I waz slobbering on they were gonna hurt me bad, Jer

What engine is in your Ford truck? The 5.4 triton 3valves had 2 piece spark plugs until late 07. When you go to remove them you will see what I mean by 2 piece. Big money maker when they come in for a tuneup. Champion has one piece replacements and Ford said they redesigned the motorcraft plugs so they wont break off.

If it has spark plugs you might as well buy a SUV and a utility trailer registration is probably less for the 2, and your wife can drive it without complaining.

The engine is the 4.2L V6 with the 5spd stick

Ok. Thanks for the info. I have a brother that worked at US Steel a few years back...

Dave, wait. I've been trying to follow your career and you keep lousing me up.
You are an O/O. You work for USS.
