So I've got these 4 bolts I've removed...

You're Welcome,

I'm not sure what your plan was or the condition of your rockers but I would take the time to cut away the rockers on these and install them like the factory.

I'd just take a 1/2" drill and drill right through the spot welds on the replacement parts, this will give you a nice place to plug weld when you put them back on.

Removing the old ones is a little more tricky, I'd just cut as much away as I could and grind down the spot welds, you are not trying to save anything here.

Alan

Hi Alan.
That is good advice.
The rockers are in real good condition consider ing the connectors were not.

I had cut the old ones away and prepped the rockers ahead of time.

I will do just as you suggest about removing the extra metal ftom the one's you sent me.

Now I can work on getting the stub frame back into the car.
Thanks again!
Tom

Here is a couple of pics with the connectors installed waiting for the stub frame to be installed.
I haven't spot welded them just yet expecting to tweak the position a bit.

I love to see stuff like this. Seriously!!
All I can think of is a recent post on Moparts where someone needed to know what replacement coil had the "correct sheen".......

I can understand that for a 100 point restoration.
Mine is more like a 20 point resto :)

I wonder if there are any original factory workers still alive that built these A,B, and E bodies. I wonder what they would think of restoring to like factory condition. I think they would say, " what the hell is wrong with these people".

This place always amazes me. Had these parts in a box for the past four years, and had no idea what they were. I've got to check if these are extras or if the original owner didn't get a chance to replace them. Thank you for this thread!

Yes definitely don't get rid of them there are plenty of people who could use them it if you can't. Nice work Mr Fix it.
