Oh I like the wheels, I'm a custom wheel guy, but not on your car. Another ride or even color they'd be great.

So I am getting real close to the completion of the '68 Polara, and upon it's completion I would like to find her a new home. This is where the honest opinion part comes into play. From reading a lot of threads, I can see that most of you have been in the C Body/ Mopar game for a while. Now if ya'll could imagine you built this car, or saw this car for sale, what would be a fair selling price?
Here is a mostly complete list of the work done.
Thanks all!!

I'm going to pass on guessing at a value, but make two observations on your pictures. First if you assembled the headers without removing the paint from the mating faces on the heads, you're going to have exhaust leaks much sooner than later. Paint makes a terrible sealing surface. Second, nice job on the exhaust system, but if you don't lengthen those shorty tail pipes, you're soon going to have no rocker panels in front of the rear wheels.
I do not like the wheels and if you have the originals I would rather put those on as most people wouldn't want the other wheels in my opinion.
The seats are not original anymore.
I would say in the ballpark of 6k.
Here is a 68 Polara 500 for sale in california, 383 HP car in comparison, it has buckets and console and a great colour for 6.300$ just to get an idear.

Pfffffffttttttttt.Me thinks judging by what he's done so far he's upside down..
If he says "absolutely", then be kind to him.You DO know you're upside on that car regardless of what you say or think...
So, what do you think so far, Scotty?
Me thinks judging by what he's done so far he's upside down. I'm gunna say by about 5K. Just a guess. And since I'm in a better mood today, and not on my phone after putting out fire in the garage, the wheels are fine, they can be changed. I think the thing that gets me is the sidewall of the tire. They need more to fill the wheel well better. Other than that it looks like a decent ride. And the engine detail is great. I hope to get to that level someday.
