Anyone out there in the IL area need a front cap for a Diplomat? My Dad had a few of those and they drove great.

I logged a lot of hours in R bodies over the years. I've owned both the R body Newports and NYs and the Newports definitely lasted longer.

The R body is probably my least favorite Chrysler. I remember the cops had them around here.

They always looked like you could get body parts from a GM dealer if you needed to.

In my experience, all of the additional chrome trim really lead to rust out on the R body NYs and the Newports without the trim were spared this and hung around longer.
Plus without all that Malaise Era gaudy bling and in cop car basic trim, they were ballsy looking.
I would like one with a built SB in it. Super sleeper.
