I would check it in person, so chassis dont have surprises. Also rear window corners looks little "dirty". And swapped fenders, passenger side has turning light when driver side dont have.
But center console, buckets.

White vinyl interior all there.
Yah but it's in horrible condition.
Such a contrast between the interior and the exterior always indicates a cheap "buy me now" paint job.

Nice "looker", but beware of the "one owner" barn find. Also, it's not red, not a TNT and not a vert....:poke:

Here's my 2 cents on the add.

1969 Chrysler Newport 2 door. Barn find, might have been sitting in a barn from the mold on the door panels and back seat but more likely indicative of water damage. One owner. Purchased from original owner. If it was purchased from the original owner, that makes it a two owner before this sale. Whoever buys it next will be the third owner. Custom option a/c car. It’s an Alabama car, how many didn’t have A/C? 70k original miles, Big block 383 2bbl, 727 3 speed automatic, center console shift, 2:73 rear. White vinyl interior all there. All chrome intact minus one piece. Solid car. Great floors. Great trunk. All body panels solid. Still suspect water damage probably from around the windshield or rear window, those are the typical places. Straight body. Original paint has been professionally reconditioned and brightened and polished. Carter carb rebuilt. New radiator, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, fluids flushed, new plugs, wires, points, coil, ballast, and rotor. Beautiful survivor car, carefully preserved. Obviously not because of the mismatched fenders. Was it in an accident? Comes with original owners manual. And the last license plate registered to the vehicle in 1982. Runs and drives great. New tires thrown on, polyester white walls that came with the car will also go with sale. When did they come with the car? 70k miles on bias ply tires, they’ve got to be a little thin. As well as original bumper jack in working order. All glass perfect. Dashboard excellent no cracks.

I hate to say it because if it really is a 383 bucket console car, I’d like to see it saved but based on the misinformation in the ad, I’d walk away from this because there’s probably much more that he’s lying about. C-Bodies are hard enough to find parts for when you know what you need. If it’s unmolested as he implies, then the torsion bars probably need replaced based on how low the front is sitting.

excellent analysis, thanks...

All that work has been done supposedly but then why not deal with that very ratty looking exhaust. I'm guessing rust holes throughout.

Sweet....despite the New Yorker fender on the pass. side. You may want to inspect it carefully for potential bondo repairs and severe undercarriage corrosion

Get it on lift and get ur screwdriver ready and start poking frame etc...

You mean this one? Yeah. One owner. Not a repaint. Yes found in a barn. Exhaust has been being redone last few days. And i say one owner because i have not registered it yet making it still a one owner. As far as frame and rust and rot. Yall just must know your stuff without seeing it in person. Already has been placed on lift in our shop. Frame is great, body and floors are great. Trunk is great. Still has trunk mat bumper jack. Sorry for not correcting my typo and adding a comma in between the custom option, a/c car, etc. wow. Thought id be welcomed by enthusiasts. Looks like a bunch of haters. Thanks guys. Anyways. The car is in great shape. And probably one of the easier restoration finishes. There is a hole in the drip edge of the trunk, and the drivers fender has been replaced, no bondo throught the rest of car, all chrome and trim in tact minus one piece or passenger rear corner. If anyone would like to see more pictures, theyre are plenty of non edited or filtered pictures. The car is in great shape. And has been gone over by actual professionals. Appreciate the assumptions tho. But the car was very well kept.

Everything else was surface. They may have had it in their back barn for a time. But when i found and purchased it it was in a single car shed/garage. We have several hotrods and ratrods in the garage. 36 ford coupe bbc blower, 67 camaro 350, 70 chevelle built $15k 496 bbc, 73 stingray corvette 383 stroker, the list continues as we also own the machine and fabrication shop here as well for the last 30 years. This car was just a pity trip, and didnt want to see it end up a rotten heap, saved it, and did what we do best and reconditioned and revived it. If there are any questions or pictures or closeups wanted let me know. The car is parked in our race/body shop and being worked on regularly, as the more into the full restoration the higher the price will go. The car is a good find. Doesnt need much. We just werent looking for a big huge land yacht. A good deal was just a good deal.

First of all welcome to our forum. The OP wanted opinions, and to the best of our knowledge that's what we gave him. Honestly a car that appears to have mold growing on the interior is not my opinion of a vehicle that has been well taken care of. Possible we are dealing with a different set of standards, and BTW original owner means the car is presently owned by the person who initially purchased it from the dealer. Not his brother, not his uncle, not his cousin's brother, not his cousins brother's sisters boy friend. or the like, and it is not determined by how many times it's been registered. We... my friend are not haters, but you may want to refer to us as realist. Hopefully you will enjoy your stay at FCBO, take some time to get to know us and you may see. Good luck with your sale.
