i have a hard top 2 door 300, my spare tire is located right side (helper), I had see some in the middle on the top, neer the back seat? is it a modification?
I can only speak for the 1965 Plymouth Fury. Spare is located in the middle, rear of the trunk on sedans/hard tops, but on the right side towards the fender on a convertible (to make room for the roof when folded).

To the best of my knowledge, the only time the spare should be on the right side in the 300 would've been on convertibles because of clearance issues when the top is down.
My 69 300 hardtop's spare tire is mounted in the middle.
Generally, if the mounting braekets are welded-in AND there's body sealer that's been painted over (body color) around the mounting flange to the floorpan, it was done at the factory. Pictures of what you've got?
