I'm thinking over getting some Denso wires actually. I've quite a horde of old Champion J14Ys and Bosch 4236s. None of these are less than 35 yrs old, NOS. I went to the Bosch plugs when I got that Edelbrock 1405 onto the engine and looked up what sorts of plug were recommended and available. Old School Champion J11Ys became Unobtainium around 2018. I had ONE set of those. Thus far, the Bundesrepublik Bosch 4236 plugs have done sehr gut, especially with that little CD box I installed last year or so. The caps on that recently have gone the Way of Old Capacitors, so I'm running Ye Venerable Kettering Inductive ignition for the time being. I might score some good caps for the little Delta box IFF my damned spawn leave me spare time to use my soldering iron! I gpt through AZ Emissions twice sans tuneup w that little widget; not bad....I have had great results with Autolite plugs and the Denso wires. The Denso wire lengths fit great, the end boots are shaped correct and have a stock look on pre electronic ignition cars, fit and look good on electronic ignitions as well.
I only say that, as electronic ignitions engines had orange wires.
I bought some Denso plugs to try out in an easy engine for a test.
Autolite 85s and the platinum equivalent did alright with this engine also. Used these before I trained my search engine to find NOS sparkplugs....
