Spedo works but od & trip stopped working, any ideas?

Welcome.
The odometer gear is worn or the odometer gear assembly is broken, jammed, etc...
I'd first remove the gauge and see what's going on.
Most likely you're then going to have to look for a new gauge.

I've learned the hard way doing this a couple times on my 68 Monaco. If you don't want to end up in phisio-therapy take your seats out for ease of access. Disconnect the battery any time you work behind the dash. Disconnect the speedo cable. Also while not completely necessary drop the column somewhat again to improve access. This is a PIA job so you will end up swearing as you try to to find the right lenght of of extension to reach the screw heads across the top of the speedometer. A small portable light and mirror will come in very handy. Plan for an hour but don't be surprised if it takes 3.

Since your car is different from my Monaco providing specific advice would be risky. Reference the intrument cluster section of FSM for the step by step procedure. Depending on your set up other things you need to watch for include the gear selector link, clock cable, any AC equipment, fader control etc. FSM should mention screw locations which helps. If you don`t have a FSM maybe somebody else on the board can scan the page for you...

http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109 this page has a link to a PDF copy of the 1966 Chrysler Service Manual.

'66 should be the same as my '65 and you really want to follow the instructions in the book. It's not that hard, but there are a lot of fiddly little details that have to be done or things will get messed up.

Once you get it apart, this is what the backside of the speedometer looks like. Odds are, something jammed in the odometer mechanism, and the teeth got chewed up on the plastic worm gear.

Stan, You've been driving those formals too long. ;)

The '66 cable unscrews from the speedometer head, that plastic clip type came along later.

Damn, you're right.
Give me your best Pimp Hand.

LOL, Pretty sure that's the first time I've corrected you in what, a decade? ;) I think we can let it slide. :)

65 & 66 are the same cluster, but the transmission end of the cable is different. 66 is the first year for the new style gear and the screw fitting.
