Splash shield question for 69-71 300, please.

I just looked in the FSM and yes, all the 440s had the Fed 1.06 pump. But it's still ugggghly!

Not once in my lifetime did I ever open the hood of a stock Mopar and say "That's an ugly power steering pump".

And again, thanks for your splash shield help. I look under my hood and say "Those are beautiful splash shields, and they complement my lovely power steering pump."

And then there's this from the current issue of Mopar Action. Oddly, this blurb does not mention how ugly the Fed unit is.....

What? Look at that lovely, slender, sculpted neck! As opposed to the Fed's squat, soup can neck. No comparison!

Hey, maybe we need a power steering appearance preference poll. It would have nothing to do with anything technical....strictly "art".

Maybe it is that the Federal typically has simple brackets, I have never seen the wagon wheel pulley on a Federal.
Also the Federal mounts a little lower and closer to the water pump.
