I beg to differ.exhaust tips are NOT standart on a SFGT.
They were included in the GT package.

Exhaust tips were standard IF you had the U or V code 440. This car is a T code 350hp 440. Probably had single exhaust from the factory, hence it being changed to what it is now.
Correct. "All" 70 GTs came with the tips. It was part of the package. All is in quotes because I did not see each 70 GT as it came off the line and I suppose there could have been an exception. Also, "All" 70 GTs that were not V code were the 350HP 440. Confusion on this point exists because the factory did install the 440 Super Commando pie tin on the air cleaner even though not a 375HP Super Commando.Sorry, but that is not accurate.
All Sport Fury GT cars had specific "GT exhaust tips", and dual exhaust as part of the A52 package, according to my knowledge.
I think Carsten is confused with the 300 Hurst, which did not have exhaust tips as part of the A12 "Hurst" package.
At least that's how I understand it. Maybe someone could ask "Billy Fury" he would know final answer.
Wow.Certainly a 5 figure car
Small note, all 71 GT's came with the HP 440 in them and no 71 GT's came with bright tips like the 70 had. Then what you’re saying is the 70/71 Sport Fury, when equipped with the standard T code 440, was the only “low performance” engine equipped car to have dual exhaust?
A52 does note Sport Fury options like dual exhaust with bright tips but I think that was only for U and V codes.
almost all 71s had 375hp. I am sure Dan will chime in.Small note, all 71 GT's came with the HP 440 in them and no 71 GT's came with bright tips like the 70 had.
I know what it will be but like to watch the kittens scrap it out. Is that evil? Maybe its not evil if you don't smirk as they scratch each others eyes out?

Billy is the guru, but may I add, the 70 GT has an option code A52 on the fender tag in conjunction with that VIN code.GTs in 70 PH23
GTs in 71 PP23

PH23 was the SPORT FURY VIN designation in 1970... you had to have the A52 on the tag to make it a SPORT FURY GT...Billy is the guru, but may I add, the 70 GT has an option code A52 on the fender tag in conjunction with that VIN code.
