correct..U code 440 STD in the GT..V code 440-6 was cancelled in april IIRC.. my 2 PROMO GT's were already in the pipeline is why they had T code 440's... NO CHROME TIPS in 1971..however they did use the 70 EX TIP "hangars" that bolted to the frame so tips would easily have been put on by anyone..even the dealer if desired..

no, not at all Dave.

I have no need for it.
I just like its condition and don't want that it slips away too cheap to a flipper.
So I will bid for it to a certain point and in the worst case I have another SFGT.
But I have no real desire for it.

If I would be real serious in getting it desperately I would not write or post about it.

Everyone who is serious about it should bid on it

Tempting offer but i really do like my car and there's less work to be done on it to get it through inspection.I'm also still infatuated with the the burnt orange interior in mine.
