Spring??

Every time I see photos of Rush's 4-speed New Yorker I wonder what I would have done if I hadn't bought my Plymouth. A NYB with a stick is a cool car. Enjoy it Mr. Rush. (I still wonder why Stan sold it, but I suppose there are greater mysteries in this world for me to cogitate on)

Spring could be an extended tease this year. Last year's winter here was tame comparably, yet this was May 1st 2013...

He's got several dozen cars parked in his yard, some nice ones at that but do we know what's in that garage? Please don't say lawn mower...

13 inches of snow since yesterday. I guess spring has been canceled and will return next year at the same time. I guess you know it's bad when you get stuck in 4 wheel drive trying to hook the plow up.:snow plow:

Nope I haven't yet. I was thinking about running them up and down the road since it's a ice skating rink out there.

If you ever get the urge to ride out west, hit me up. I have a spare mountain sled and will pick you up at the airport.

What's the sense of cars up there then? For two months?? Fergeddabouddit.

No problem we just have to drive em 24/7 for 60 days straight that's all. Don't need no steenking air conditioning, just open the floor vents during the day and slide the temp lever over at night.

It would be a '69 Road Runner coupe/post, 4spd car that I drove in High School.

I bought it for $100 when I was 15, and I still have the bill of sale in a book somewhere. It had no engine or transmission and the hood was thrown aside, upside down and the front edge was rusted, so I put a hood from a '69 Satellite wagon on it with Super Bee scoops that I bought for I believe $20 and I put a 383/727 from a '68 Monaco in it.

It was originally white with a black top and hood stripes; very basic, manual steering, brakes etc. I think the only interior option was an AM radio.

With a story like that, it deserves the first class accommodations of that vintage garage.
