Steering coupler rag joint?

I'm wondering if that is for 65 only? I don't remember seeing such a thing on Cbody Bobs 66 300 when i had it here.

The one on my 65 Newport is the same style, so I do not think it is a retrofit.

Nope the rag joint is used in cars from 71 on that have the rubber isolators for body mounts.

This rag joint debate has always confused me. My all original ‘70 coupe has a rag joint (torsion quiet suspension); my original steering for the ‘70 vert is a straight shaft; my friend’s “time capsule” ‘70 vert from Canada has the rag joint. Again, Ma Mopar doesn’t follow what we think are set rules.

Davea Lux if the dodge connection rebuild kits x reference to our humble C bodies, their not aware of it. The mop part number they list is 04443436AC, is this what you used?
