Yes early E-body, i think the T shifter came out in 72 on.

40 comments in 25 minutes. I saw one that was close but it said "shift gate" rather than "slap shift" on the gyc page. Mark Worman commented on my pic said it the same as the one he posted but says "slap shift".

TRANSMISSIONS

Let's shift gears (literally). Two transmission choices were available. The A833 HD 4-speed Manual (D21) and the A727 HD Torqueflite Automatic (D32). (By the way HD is for Heavy Duty. The lesser duty transmissions were not available.) Each offered two ways to shift. For the manual transmission you got your choice of a Pistol Grip Shifter with a Center Console (C16) or without it. The automatic transmission was available either on the floor (the famous Slap Stik), which required the Center Console option (C16), or on the column. (The column shifter was available with either the bench or bucket seats.) If ordered, the Center Console option was coded on the fender tag.​

So fn nazi book burning bullish!t!!! After posting on the Mopar trader page" why did my post get deleted " literally !! I said " I'm still up in the air as to what it's for " and that was deleted! So then I posted a IMO con of a puzzled smiley face and now I can't get on the page. Mother f'er I didn't post any drama! I'm just trying to figure out what I have!! Others comments are not mine and if I am to be punished for being as unhappy with it as the admins and am then banned....bullsh!t!!! What a joke!!
