Stormer's 67 Polara Build

Looks factory, Ross. If this car doesn't become a case study for this sort of transplant I'd be surprised.

I know its not but its certainly the nicest I've seen pics of.

I wanna 5.7 for my 300! Excellent, when do we see a correctly oriented pic of the whole car?

BTW, if you are using an iphone to take the pics, Apple embeds meta data into the photo so only Apple products can read the correct orientation. The work around is to only take a photo with the phone sideways where the volume buttons are on the bottom and to the left.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's a 6.1L, by the way, not a 5.7L. 5.7's are variable valve timing & some other BS that isn't conducive to hot-rodding. A 6.1 with 5.7 heads makes 11.5:1 compression with no VVT.

It is a perfect fit but that's due to highly skilled craftsman & LOTS of cash. I would NEVER do it again due to the outrageous cost...

In fact, once the car is running & driving, I'm gonna pull it out of the shop & finish it myself. The money pit is getting capped.

6.1? Then it is the only one.

Many guys are using the 5.7 in the old stuff, what why would a 5.7 in your be harder than theirs?

I don't know but I can tell you that the K-Member had to be chopped, custom motor mounts fabricated, custom steering box, custom starter, headers had to be chopped & re-coated, etc...

When you say many guys, you talking C-Bodies?

No..... i believe I have seen two other 5.7s C bodies done, over on the Drydock. Many other bodys Bs and Es especially.

They actually make aftermarket stuff for the B's & E's. C's = chop time...
