Sub-frame Isolators/Insulators on Fuseys

That's the thing, seller advertised the vin in the ad but made nothing of it which tells me that the same was true for the owner before him. It was part of a package deal and seller was asking way less then market for both cars.

No plan as of yet for it except hold it for research.

Who is that guy you ask? He is the last of a dying breed. A man of principle; A man his word; A man you can trust. Tough, but fair. The kind of man who rises when a lady enters the room, yet wouldn't think twice about clouting some disrespectful, smart-mouthed young punk who dared to push his luck. He loves his country but has no time for big government. He wouldn't be caught dead driving an imported car and he only smokes Lucky Strikes. Does that narrow it down?
Not really.
You described half the guys I used to work with. Well the older ones, anyway...
And I smoked Raleighs so it wasn't me.

All those older guys I used to work with smoked unfiltered Lucky Strikes. They're all dead.

There are also two 72 V-code Chargers and one Road Runner mentioned in the production numbers in one of the Motorbooks Intl. publications. So I wouldn't rule such an installation completely out either.

I think there are 5 72 B bodies in Galen's book, 3 of them Chargers. I know of a guy locally that has one of the Chargers, been sitting in his garage for years. It was his fathers since almost new and he's waiting on his uncle to help to restore it since his fathers passing.

That's right John, I have a buddy that just picked up a rolling chassis '72 JS Challenger with a V for an engine code, we're trying to figure that one out right now. Could be a misprint or...
I really had to do my homework on this one because I'm totally stupid about E-bodies.
Let me get this straight.
"JS" means it was a Challenger Rallye. Right?
Largest engine supposedly available was the 360. Right?
V Code is a 440 six pack. Right?
So it's not supposed to exist. Right?
How am I doing....

I could see an early build date but not a late one. What is the VON like? Anything special there

With no book in front of me I believe the 340 was largest in 72.
And I did.
And I still got it wrong...

No way to know VON w/out fender tag. It'll likely be impossible to prove but very interesting nonetheless. He picks it up Sunday and I'll probably go see it then.

I missed the no fender tag part earlier........... shame. I wish people would leave fender tags and build sheets alone

Are you suggesting build sheets be left under the seat, carpet, on top of the headliner, or behind the glove box etc Dave? I can see keeping track of fender tags or leaving them them attached but if everyone leaves build sheets where the are how would anyone learn from them and how much longer are they gonna last and for who?

Build sheets almost never go with the car once they are sold from the puller of said build sheet. Eventually, they are separated from the car never to be reunited again. Besides, I wanna be the one to pull it from its hidden location, like a cracker Jacks box.

So everyone should leave build sheets alone except you?

btw a large part of the time the build sheets do not match the car they are found in.
