Made back when red was really red. The interior seems to be in a fine condition, but the A/C doesn´t work per the seller, who provides no photos of the sunroof nor the fender tag.

That's a shame that this car has that much rust with only 48000 miles. I would check the cowl for rust too. There is extensive rust around the lower perimeter of the entire car.

I can't see the condition of the seats. It looks like there is issues with the leather along the bottom edge on the drivers side. That cant be fixed and has to be replaced.

I cant see any evidence it has a sunroof.

Even with the rust I would definitely would save the car and fix the rust.

Well at least the rust seems contained to the bottom half of fenders and skirts. Probably from needing to drive once or twice in the salt snow over the years. Obviously they didn’t make it a regular occurrence or else this car would be Swiss cheese

Anyone close to this one for “eyes on”! Delaware is few hours from me depending how deep in Delaware she is.. I’d rather rely on one of our Fine members to Eyes on her before I pull the trigger... thanks

Anyone???

I see a special order tag to the right, what do you think that would’ve been for? I thought that tag was only for service vehicles?. Educate me please..

Maybe , would like to see a good picture of that second tag...….

My '70 Fury ex-squad, '78 New Yorker St Regis Coupe and my '79 New Yorker all have "Special Handling" on the second tag. That is what I suspect this picture would show. That typically means a higher level of care in making the car and no omissions compared to what was ordered.

I do not see M51 for power sunroof on the tag anywhere - possibly added post factory. Car has a "J" VON which signifies something out of the ordinary for paint or trim. Y39 at the top of the tag is the same thing. If you look carefully where the body paint code is - its V09 - which is for special order paint.

Could it be on the other Vin tag to the right of the picture that we don’t see? I have a sunroof in my 77, and it looks identical to this one so for that to be added at the dealer looks unlikely to me.
