For Sale sunroof new yorker

Checked my files - and I am having de-ja-voo. Check this car out. No sunroof code on the tag - but it came with the V5R St. Regis Package. was the sunroof part of that package?? This car has the same paint as the currently posted car - with the same tag info - J VON, Y39, V09......and the Special Handling tag.

Hmm! That’s interesting! On purpose or coincidence.. To different cars, both with sunroofs.. the “Brown strip” through the VIN tag, in the car initially mentioned in this thread, I saw it and thought It might have been oversight at the factory.. but now 2 different cars with strip in the same area.. come to think of it I should look at my 77 sunroof NYB to see if it Has too.. thoughts?

Nope, No strip! Just looked.

Just may be a coincidence between the two different cars.

I am wondering if these cars initially had the little metal inspector strips covering the tags when they were painted. Then when all the inspectors were done, the metal strips were cut away, or previous owners just got rid of them.

Guys.. I’m getting some interior spray paint mixed so I can freshen up the 77.. can you guys tell me the interior code so I can pass it on to the manufacturer please? Thx
