Had to go to the airport yesterday. WTF is going on with all the new construction?
It looks like 2006 again. Are these developers insane? Hasn't anybody learned anything from the last bubble burst?

I have been thinking the same thing here in Phoenix. They are building like crazy here. Home prices rising fast. Here we go again. The good part is my son is n electrician so it's keeping him really busy.

Instill in him the value of making hay while the sun shines and put all that extra dough while he's putting in 65 hr. weeks away for the guaranteed rainy day because it will come. He'll be reduced to changing light switches for little old ladies at points in his career.
No house with $2,000.00 PIT monthly parments.
No Gran Cherokee and Challenger R/T 72 month notes.
No Skidoos. No ATVs.

Yes he knows that. Both my sons (the younger one is a diesel technician) have a great work ethic. They grew up watching mom and dad go to work everyday. We're very glad that family trait rubbed off on them.

Good advice! Things really suck here in Alberta right now with the oil price crash. Laying my own staff off is the worst feeling ever. Every day now someone drops the keys off for that beautiful ride we sold them and walks away. The bumper stickers have come back out...."Please God let there be another oil boom, I promise not to piss this one away" Times are tough here not getting any better soon either. Cant get a friggin pipeline built in our own country let alone the US but its ok to import 600000 bbls a day from the saudis while Alberta crude sits in tanks. Wonder how environmentaly sound their industry is? Maybe Fumbuck County will accept some Albertan refugees? We sound like Americans, write like Brits and occasionaly throw in a couple of French words will we fit in ok?

Half of Canada is here as we speak.
The good news is they're all going back in another 6 weeks or so and I can get my F&$#-ing stool back at my local watering hole.

BTW, our local Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store is hiring. My best friend here starts in their parts dept next week.

Yep... they all learned they dont like rental houses...

Lots of jobs in FL... a few even pay... But your heating bills will be way cheaper. I feel for you, Doba, I only ever had to let go people who deserved it and that sucked...

Ya but the A/C bills might bankrupt me lol! Actually because our igloos are heated by natural gas its cheap - avg month $100 for heat this winter. My satelite tv bill is bigger..
