Howdy folks! I’m a guy from Oklahoma who drug a 1965 Chrysler Newport from my Grandfathers field on his ranch I live at.

It was originally my Great-grandfathers and was supposedly parked in the early 70’s but all information is out of living memory I’m afraid. In fact the only reason this car, a 65 New Yorker, and a 72 D100 adventurer were present still was that they were too inconvenient to haul off with the dozen or so other vehicles in the 80’s lol.

Other than working on my (and my family’s) 90’s-2000’s daily’s I work with my grandfather on his 1966 Dodge D-100.

My car is an all a factory car (with factory carpet unfortunately) and I’m going to try and work with the engine (383) without a tear down or rebuild. I figure I can always do a rebuild in the future so apart from the removing the intake (already did) I should just have to drop the transmission to tighten the bands. No it’s not the ideal way but with most of my spare finances going towards daily’s or saving up for them it’s worth a shot for a fun project!

Thought this would be a nice place to pick up information that Chilton will miss and maybe have some neat conversations!

Thanks so much for having me and if this isn’t the right spot for this just let me know!
