Saw this messge from one of our members on the 300 Club, Intl. news list:
"I am familiar with the Charles Kee Collection. He died in December 2013. At one time he had a 300C and was a member of the Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. The collection is just east of Bend, Oregon. The cars have been sitting for at least 30 years. Kee was stockpiling the cars with the intention of opening a museum.
The Collection of 250-cars is heavy on Chryslers, DeSotos, Imperials, and 300s — will sell without reserve on May 8-9. James G. Murphy Commercial & Industrial Auctioneers is handling this rodeo."
Another member mentioned that a few years ago, some Swedes showed up with a suitcase full of cash and bought 195 cars out of this collection.
Maybe there is something left worth a look. . .
