I purchased this car July 4 2021. Sort of a independence day purchase. $1200 and he said he couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't run. Dad said i would never get it to crank. $9 condenser later and the car is idling in my yard. On 15 year old gas... but I poured some over the top with seafoam and put 3 filters inilne. No trash from the tank!!! I put a rad in it $160, triple row radiator. Then a fuel pump $100. And then the brakes started locking so I replaced the pads and the master cylinder $100 between both. Tires were in good condition so I didn't have to replace those. And I rebuild the thermoquad $40. I also put in 8 new spark plugs $50 and then I peeled my old vynil roof and painted the top $40 in a quality flat black rustoleum paint and primer.
I'm going to guess around $2000 I have a running car that can pull a $4000 offer very easily. Maybe more if someone really wants it. It always gets compliments wherever I go. No matter where I stop someone talks about the car. Its awesome
