THE RESURRECTION OF SCORCH

What a great story I can't wait to head south and meet you Graham. I will be sure to bring my red car with a white drop top and get a pic with you and your car. I will bring down the power antennas I have for you and the dual snorkel air cleaner. I haven't gotten around to removing the sentinel lighting from the 69 N/Y yet I want to make sure it's done right. See you this summer.

Thats a deal Marlowe! I wish I had more time to head your way I would love to rummage around lol. With one day off for car stuff per week things do not move very fast!

The grill looks great, how did you do the detail work? I'm trying to figure out how to mask all of the silver ribs to respray the black.

Very carefull hand and a model paint brush masked the red sections and sprayed same colour as body

I'm looking forward to the "I've discovered powder coating" thread... The treats oven will never be the same.:D

Dont laugh Im waiting for her to go out for the day so I can do the wrinkle finish on my dual snorkel upgrade....:D

Who better to detail an engine compartment!! Called in a pro. Rad is toast so going out for a recore. Apparently a 22" with inlet and outlet on the driver side is rare and not reproduced. Stupid no AC Canadian cars lol. Waterpump looks original as did rad hoses. Spring clamps were broken and just sitting there. Alternator is correct date coded as well so maybe original as well.
