I thought I might have seen some people at the Steak house place (forgot the name), but I guess it was not to be. There were a lot of other mopar people there however. Steak wasn't that bad either.

I beat the lady up pretty good. The pool there is small but the place is new and again , across from Hoss's. I am there for $110.00 a night, per room, two rooms. She was giving us a price of around $180.00........... No friggin chance. We had stopped in at the fall Carlisle event just to check out the new place, she came down in price to the point I couldnt pass on it
IIRC, doesn't Mark's wife manage this one?
Same weekend as Good Guys again this year...
I just checked.....$177 a night. I'll have to call and haggle a better price.

What is the Hampton Inn in Mechanichsburg like?
I've stayed there before. It's nice. No complaints. A little bit of a drive from Carlisle which was fine with me.

I'm probably gonna try this one. We stayed in Harrisburg at the Hampton Inn this year. That was OK, but they screwed up the bill so bad they ended up giving me one night for free after I bitched.

Jazabelle deff commands attention with her presence. People all over were taking pics of her, and checking her out.
You guys are killing me with carlisle. I gotta get the car together to go...

I think we stayed there the first time we took the car out to Carlisle (2yrs ago). It was very nice, no complaints....suite rooms, pool, hot breakfast, entertainment area...

Well all this Carlisle talk inspired me to make my reservations. Last year I stayed at the Days Inn Carlisle North and had planned on staying there again but this year it said NO cancelations. Not going to pay for all 4 nights if something happens and I can't go. I wound up booking at the Hotel Carlisle where Dave used to stay. I'll have to talk to him tomorrow and see why he doesn't want to stay there anymore. I'll probably be staying there by myself so as long as I can get a good nights sleep I'm good.

I love the stories of impromptu "meets" and the pics. I love the shots of Commando's NYB with the 300...I can see the lineage between the two cars. The people are what makes the hobby so great though.
Carlisle is still on the bucket list. Maybe I should go to bolster the Formal ranks there.

I need to start getting my ducks in a row for Carlisle as well, no excuses this coming year the Imp will definitely be ready for the trip!
