Thread for Craigslist morons

I stole this one from over at Moparts. Too good to let them have all the fun with this one.

70 1970 Panther Pink PPG Paint One Gallon -ORIGINAL High Quality Color

70 1970 Panther Pink PPG Paint One Gallon -ORIGINAL High Quality Color - $3000

Hi there,

I am selling a gallon of PPG Panther Pink paint from 1970.
That's right, this is THE ORIGINAL Panther Pink paint!
This paint was also marketed as Furious Fuchsia and Moulin Rouge (PPG paint code 2260).

PPG produced this color of paint for the 1970 Barracuda, Belvedere, Challenger, Coronet, Charger, Fury, Polara, Satellite, and Valiant, and then it disappeared as a stock color option until it's very limited return in 2010 for very few Chrysler models.

This gallon of paint is unopened, and has been stored in a dry garage for the last 30 years. It was mixed in the late seventies or early eighties. It is still liquid, but since I am not going to be the one to pop the top after all this time, I can not vouch for the exact condition of the paint. I do know that because the chemical make-up of paint was altered over time this is one of the last chances, if not THE last chance to work with ORIGINAL 1970 PANTHER PINK paint. One gallon should enough for an expert to shoot an entire car, or if you have an original Panther Pink car, you will be able to correctly color match any touch-ups you might need to do rather than re-shoot the entire car, since the modern Panther Pink is not quite the same shade due to the chemical make-up change.

Please call or text Gwen at 831 521 8625.
Thank you.

Good luck finding the DAU 2 hardener to activate that paint. Anything else will require experimentation to find out what cures and what doesn't which means test spraying panels first.

A couple of Folks at a yearly swap meet in my area offer breast enlargement by laying of Hands 1 EUR with a Money back guarantee. I don't know if they already had a customer but I don't see anything to go wrong. :poke:

Unopened... 30 years... I'm not convinced it's still even pink.

I happen to have a 50 year old white GM touchup pencil that actually still works but it has a slightly greenish tint now.

For sale and cheap.

Question. One, a bigger family car than a Taurus wagon? Two, are you living out of a hotel? Three, head gasket shot?

Hi I'm selling my Taurus. It runs great. Reason I'm selling is because I bought a bigger family car, and I don't need this one. 850 obo
It has 121,300 miles

If it has a 3.8L... which it probably does... the head gaskets have already been replace at least once. It's the bearings knocking that makes them want to sell.
